Linen Shirts for Men

Linen shirts for men are the coolest shirts you can wear in Indian heat. Linen is woven from flax fibres, which let air through and dry quickly, so the shirt stays light on your skin on humid days. It has a natural slub texture and creases easily, which is part of its relaxed look.

Fabric. Most of our linen shirts are cotton linen: cotton for softness and fewer creases, linen for coolness. We also have 100% linen shirts for the lightest, most breathable feel, and viscose linen and lyocell linen, which are smoother and drape more softly.

Colours and patterns. Light colours suit linen best: white, ecru and oatmeal, beige, aqua blue and olive. We also have navy, brown, khaki, wine and teal. Choose plain linen for the smartest look, or checks, stripes and prints for weekends.

Fit. Almost all our linen shirts are slim fit: tapered at the waist and neat through the shoulders. A few half sleeve linen shirts come in relaxed fit, with more room through the body, made to be worn untucked.

How to wear them. A plain white or blue linen shirt tucked into beige or navy trousers works for a summer office or a day wedding. Untucked with the sleeves rolled, linen shirts go with jeans, chinos and shorts for weekends, travel and the beach.

Care. Wash linen in cold water on a gentle cycle and dry it in the shade. Iron it while slightly damp, or simply let the creases be: linen softens with every wash.
