The cotton-viscose blend we use sits at approximately 55% cotton and 45% viscose, which means the fabric drapes with a slight sheen while maintaining the breathability cotton provides. Viscose adds a subtle lustre that distinguishes these from plain cotton—useful when you need something that reads as more intentional without being loud. Maroon itself works across skin tones and pairs without friction: grey trousers, indigo denim, cream chinos, or black tailoring all work. The weight and weave mean these perform well through spring, monsoon transitions, and winter mornings in most Indian cities. One thing to note: viscose blends require a gentler wash than pure cotton to prevent gradual shrinkage or loss of that fluid drape—cold water and a delicate cycle will keep these shirts performing as intended over repeated wears.
