Cotton-polyester blend shirts occupy the middle ground between pure cotton and synthetics—and for Indian summers, that's often where practicality lives. Our men's cotton-polyester shirts use a 65/35 ratio, which means the fabric breathes like cotton but resists wrinkles and shrinkage better than 100% cotton would. The blend sits around 150 GSM, light enough for April-to-September wear without feeling papery. You'll notice less ironing time compared to pure cotton, which matters if you're wearing these through office days or casual office Fridays. The polyester component also adds durability; these shirts hold their shape through multiple washes better than cotton-only equivalents. These work well layered under blazers for formal settings or worn open-collar in humid weather. One practical note: polyester blends dry faster when hand-washed, but machine washing on a gentle cycle works fine. They'll shrink minimally if you air-dry, though tumble drying on low is safe.
